📋 Description

• Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions across all phases of the business lifecycle • Serve as the Global Trade liaison for assigned Avionics business segments and leaders • Support development and execution of business strategic initiatives and Global Trade efforts for technology development • Work under U.S. Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and HTS • Deploy Collins and Avionics Global Trade policies and procedures • Support development of the Global Trade focal network • Support licensing and authorization activities for assigned business segments • Support Regulatory Compliance investigations • Develop and deliver formal and informal Global Trade training and communications • Review transactions under Collins Sanctions policy • Support compliance requirements related to foreign-person employees • Lead and manage authorization and global trade projects at Avionics and Collins levels • Partner with Avionics senior leaders, engineering, and business product line teams to understand program objectives and establish authorization and technology-transfer plans • Interface with U.S. and international customers to drive compliant execution and business results

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Global Trade regulations, including EAR and ITAR • U.S. Person status required • Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically 10% • Basic understanding of U.S. Customs regulations • Background or experience in engineering or a related aerospace discipline • Project or program management experience • Aerospace technical experience • Experience with EMEA regional and national regulations • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in a dynamic, global, fast-paced environment • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet multiple goals, plans, and milestones • Strong IT experience, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience interpreting, managing, and implementing regulations, policies, and procedures • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred
