📋 Description

• Lead the definition, development, and execution of the MBSE strategy and roadmap for the System Solutions team • Drive development of advanced MBSE capabilities supporting programs across business units • Architect, develop, and validate MBSE models across the system lifecycle • Implement and deploy reference architectures, modeling standards, and best practices • Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams in adopting MBSE methods • Coordinate with System Method Representatives and System Discipline Boards • Collaborate with the Digital Product Lifecycle Technical Advisory Board and external stakeholders • Align MBSE adopters across business units and coordinate adoption activities • Coordinate dependencies and knowledge transfer with System Solutions teams and the System Program Manager • Provide technical inputs, status updates, risks, and recommendations • Integrate MBSE tools with hardware design, analysis tools, and the broader digital engineering ecosystem • Lead tool and environment integrations, execute trade studies, and develop system interface descriptions • Enhance connectivity between MBSE tools and digital thread solutions • Support proposal and business development activities through MBSE methodologies • Mentor and train junior systems engineers • Travel up to 15% as needed for program and collaboration efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience • Proficiency in MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw/Teamwork Cloud and SysML modeling • Familiarity or experience with MagicGrid methodology • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Polarion • Experience with Modelica systems models such as Dymola, Modelon, or Amesim • Experience with Syndeia and Ansys ModelCenter • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools including Teamcenter, Windchill, Polarion, and GIT • Demonstrated experience with system development processes, including requirement design, integration, test, and verification • Experience working in aerospace or another highly regulated engineering environment • Experience working in a configuration-controlled environment, including problem reports and change requests • Ability to work within Eastern Time Zone core and global teams, including India Standard Time • U.S. citizenship is required • SysML V2/KerML knowledge or experience preferred • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines preferred • Experience with Product Line Engineering approaches and tools preferred • Knowledge of mechanical or electrical design and analysis tools preferred • Understanding of agile and waterfall product development lifecycles preferred • Experience or interest in Digital Thread/Integrated Digital Environment processes preferred • Familiarity with digital twin concepts preferred • Familiarity with Product Line Engineering and applying concepts to a SysML model preferred • Familiarity with digital ecosystems and data connectivity via digital threads preferred • Familiarity with Power BI, Kibana, and/or Grafana preferred • OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP), OMG Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM), INCOSE ASEP, or MBSE Champions Program certifications/experience preferred • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight • Strong communication skills • Practical project management capability • Ability to collaborate across teams
