📋 Description

• Lead a capture portfolio of Shipboard Missile programs throughout the pursuit lifecycle • Integrate with the SBM team and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives • Lead competitive and complex sole source captures • Build and maintain long-term customer, partner, teammate, and industry-association relationships • Analyze customer priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and hot-buttons to develop win strategies • Provide progress updates, justify investments, and align activities with business priorities • Develop customer-aligned win strategies and capture products, including competition assessments, teaming strategies, PTW analysis, win themes, and value propositions • Develop and execute capture plans with customer mapping, engagement strategies, POA&Ms, and success metrics • Lead capture strategy and execution through the Pursuit-to-Startup Phase within the RLPM framework and gating process • Build and lead multidisciplinary capture teams across Raytheon SBUs, functional areas, and external partners • Make data-driven investment-funding recommendations while optimizing Probability of Win and affordability • Lead Black Hat reviews, Win Strategy Workshops, Color Team reviews, and independent assessments • Engage customers to shape requirements and influence acquisition strategies • Champion compliant, compelling proposal delivery • Support proposal development by drafting technical, management, and executive volumes and contributing to pricing strategies • Conduct competitive intelligence and risk assessments • Brief senior leadership on capture progress, investments, risks, and strategic positioning • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations on public policy and technology advocacy • Maintain accurate capture data in the Enterprise Raytheon Pipeline Manager CRM tool • Travel domestically up to 50%

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior Aerospace and Defense industry experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 12 years’ experience • 4+ years’ experience as a capture manager or acquisition professional using defense industry capture and proposal processes for US customers • Experience as a key contributor on competitive and sole source captures or acquisitions/solicitations over $500M • Intermediate Capture Management Certification or equivalent, including USG/DoD PM/acquisition certifications • Experience with customer engagement, DoD acquisition processes, strategy development, resource planning, strategic recommendations, business case analysis, and executive briefings • 10+ years communicating and presenting to senior customers, business unit executives, and supply base executives • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Domestic travel up to 50%
