⢠Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality ⢠Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings and rapid response actions ⢠Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for critical quality or delivery issues ⢠Develop, implement, and review supplier improvement plans ⢠Monitor KPIs and evaluate containment exit criteria ⢠Escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams ⢠Partner with Commodity Teams and SBUs to transition suppliers to sustainable operations ⢠Identify supplier sites and prioritize development efforts based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs ⢠Conduct supplier assessments using SRA, SHA, Gemba, and related methods ⢠Create supplier development roadmaps, training, and targeted maturity-model actions ⢠Align supplier readiness with Commodity Managers and Engineering teams for new programs and volume ramp-ups ⢠Facilitate improvement-plan development, KPI tracking, and gate reviews ⢠Monitor supplier maturity and initiate sustainment planning ⢠Provide leadership or support for supplier transitions and smooth handover of work scope ⢠Execute APQP for new product launch and work transition projects ⢠Develop manufacturing process technology tools and standardization, including FMEA and Control Plans ⢠Collaborate with Commodity Managers, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Operations, Planning, SBUs, supplier leadership, and crisis-response teams
⢠University degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience ⢠Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed, minimum 50% of the time ⢠Experience leading supplier recovery efforts and supplier transitions ⢠Experience conducting Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for critical quality or delivery issues ⢠Project management experience ⢠Background in operations/manufacturing, engineering, quality, or supply chain with supplier-facing work ⢠Experience working with engineered items such as castings, plastics, machining, mechanical fabrication, forgings, and electrics ⢠Ability to apply lean principles and tools for continuous improvement and process management ⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access ⢠Experience creating and using LOB, WIP trackers, Clear to Build, and milestone charts ⢠Ability to present to customers, engage VP-level leadership, and collaborate with supplier CEOs and Presidents ⢠Strong organizational skills and work orientation ⢠U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ⢠No security clearance required
