📋 Description

• Manage multiple and complex supply chain projects • Supervise a team of engineers, including hiring, promotion, coaching, development and performance management • Support the sales process and create high-quality solutions and designs • Apply company methodologies and tools to design distribution and/or transportation operations • Establish and implement performance measures • Provide proposal and presentation support and development • Plan resources based on priorities and demand signals • Identify process gaps and recommend and implement process improvements • Make inventory and/or supply chain strategy recommendations • Assist with logistics training as part of Ryder Academy • Interact with customers, Sales and Operations to create value propositions • Confer with Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions • Provide regular and proactive communications to customers and Ryder Senior Management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, Supply chain, or minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience • Eight (8) years or more related work experience required • Total Work Systems (TQM) advanced required • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt • Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) • Strong technical aptitude • Effective leadership skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Develops and delivers effective presentations • Builds and manages effective teams • Ability to build strong customer relationships • DOT Regulated: No
