📋 Description

• Ensure quality and compliance of raw materials and finished products manufactured by external partners • Oversee quality control activities at contract manufacturers • Implement quality programs and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Manage daily quality compliance and ensure timely product release • Review non-conforming materials and assist with complaint investigations • Review supplier and laboratory Certificates of Analysis for accuracy and specification compliance • Facilitate testing and release or rejection of raw material and finished product samples • Provide onsite quality support during new product launches • Lead the material review board and manage disposal of non-conforming, expiring, damaged, and returned products • Maintain QC records for audits and regulatory inspections • Manage and approve finished product specifications and testing protocols • Coordinate third-party laboratory testing and evaluate external laboratories • Validate new testing methods or procedures when required • Collaborate with Operations, QA, Regulatory, R&D, logistics, and Quality teams • Implement lean or efficiency-focused initiatives to optimize QC operations • Support cross-functional QC training and monitor industry and regulatory changes

🎯 Requirements

• Experience requirements are not specified in the posting • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 111/117 requirements for foods and dietary supplements • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards or equivalent • Ability to coordinate microbiological, chemical, analytical, and stability testing • Ability to manage contract manufacturer quality control activities • Ability to lead and train virtual QC team members • Ability to manage CAPAs, non-conformances, deviations, complaints, and material review processes
