📋 Description

• Engage in the transformational journey to select and implement a modern Point of Sale system, including mobile POS • Lead and develop Point of Sale technical releases and business continuity for the incumbent legacy NCR Cornell Mayo application • Bridge existing legacy applications to a modern technology stack • Serve as technical expert for in-store custom applications for cash management, returns, electronic journal, and payment integrations • Architect, develop, and implement in-store applications following Change Management and ITIL processes • Liaise with product and QA teams for high-quality products and seamless implementations • Participate in project meetings from a technical perspective with an understanding of the luxury retail sector • Deliver technical solutions focused on event-based transactions, efficiency, sustainability, and high availability • Lead omni-channel technical engagements to foster a seamless customer journey • Collaborate with stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication • Oversee critical outages impacting store applications and provide guidance to technology partners

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or relative working experience • 10+ years in technology within the retail industry • 10+ years of hands-on technical/architecture experience in retail POS, mobile POS, and credit/debit payment authorizations • 10+ years of technical experience with Point of Sale applications, C++, C#, ASP.Net, REST Web Services, JSON and XML, Azure Git and GitHub, Amazon Web Services, and Kafka • Experience managing third-party technical vendors • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams • Project/program management experience preferred • Google collaboration suite preferred
