📋 Description

• Develop, document, and maintain enterprise physical security standards, SOPs, post orders, and escalation protocols • Build a repeatable, scalable physical security program tailored to client requirements • Establish defense-in-depth standards for perimeter control, entry control, zone segregation, and asset protection • Define credentialing standards and training curricula for security personnel • Lead security readiness for site activations, account transitions, and decommissioning projects • Own contractual security service-level performance across the assigned portfolio • Conduct site assessments, post inspections, and quality assurance audits • Drive corrective action plans through documented closure • Serve as senior escalation authority for security incidents and own investigations, root-cause analysis, and after-action reporting • Partner with the global command center on monitoring, alarm response, dispatch, and ticketing workflows • Manage coverage models, staffing, shift accountability, overtime, and post-fill reliability • Own the security operating budget and identify cost-efficiency opportunities • Oversee Physical Security Operations Managers and Security Project Managers • Govern subcontracted guard force and security vendor performance • Ensure personnel training on post orders, emergency response, and site-specific risks • Maintain audit readiness, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and findings closure • Align physical security controls with ISO 27001, SOC 2, OSHA, and client-specific frameworks • Conduct threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments and sequence mitigations • Maintain business continuity, emergency response, lockdown, and crisis management procedures • Ensure compliance with licensing, background screening, and badging requirements • Maintain access logs, incident reports, investigations, and audit records • Represent security in client reviews, audits, site visits, prospect tours, and escalation calls • Support sales pursuits and RFP responses with security scope, staffing, technology, and cost inputs • Advise clients on security program design, remediation, and maturity roadmaps • Build relationships with client security leadership and identify expansion opportunities • Lead, coach, and develop security managers and supervisors • Conduct performance reviews and build succession depth • Drive a culture of safety, integrity, and professionalism • Maintain visibility and standards across sites and time zones through reporting and field presence • Travel 30–40% to domestic and international client sites, including occasional short-notice travel • Provide occasional after-hours and weekend incident-response availability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business, or a related field • Equivalent experience considered • 8+ years of progressive physical or corporate security experience • 3+ years leading through subordinate managers or supervisors • Ownership of a multi-site security program, including standards development and audit or compliance accountability • Data center, mission-critical infrastructure, or comparable 24x7 environment experience strongly preferred • Experience in outsourced services, managed services, or contract security environments • Experience managing contractual service levels • Hands-on experience with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems • Experience conducting security investigations and producing defensible incident documentation • Senior client-facing or stakeholder-facing experience, including presenting performance data and remediation plans • Ability to lead distributed teams remotely • Ability to pass client-required background screening and obtain site-specific credentials • Ability to work in active construction, deployment, and decommissioning environments requiring personal protective equipment • Occasional after-hours and weekend availability • Preferred certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), First Aid / CPR / AED, OSHA Certification
