📋 Description

• Act as a tactical partner to business stakeholders on key initiatives and proactively mitigate legal and compliance risks • Investigate and address employee relations concerns • Execute decisions within established policies and create solutions that enhance employee experience • Participate in organizational design, department restructures, role repurposing, and joint venture integrations • Serve as subject matter expert for FMLA, CFRA, state-protected and personal leaves • Manage reasonable accommodation and leave requests, including return-to-work and transitional work plans • Coach employees on policies, communication, development, and performance management • Provide performance management guidance to management, including counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions • Use metrics, analytics, and employee lifecycle data to inform talent management strategies • Execute change management strategies supporting business evolution • Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership and recommend solutions • Design specialized training programs with the People Team’s centers of expertise • Assist with HR policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Proactive approach to finding solutions in unprecedented or challenging situations • Strong passion for supporting people and leading with a people-first mindset • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus • Must be available to work standard west coast business hours
