📋 Description

• Review and oversee QA/QC programs across all project phases • Conduct contractor audits and provide improvement recommendations • Ensure contractors use current design-document revisions and maintain change records • Verify installed work complies with drawings, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements • Track work progress and report key activity development • Support project stakeholders in addressing problems and finding solutions • Monitor storage and maintenance of project materials and equipment • Review construction testing and compliance documentation, including welding, concrete, NDE, welding procedures, and welder qualifications • Oversee quality of soils compaction, concrete placement, structural steel bolt-up, rotating equipment alignment, and electrical cable testing • Maintain quality records and as-built documentation • Compile audit results and performance metrics for project management and stakeholders • Assist contractors with pre-planning quality control processes • Document inspection observations, deviations, and non-conformances • Track non-conformance reports and corrective actions • Report QA/QC performance statistics and improvement opportunities • Interface between contractors/subcontractors and the client • Enforce safety protocols and procedures • Maintain records of quality activities, inspections, equipment condition, and performance metrics • Provide technical leadership and guidance to plant operators, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical quality assurance, operations, and maintenance within the power generation industry • Proven track record of successful projects • Familiarity with industry regulations, industry codes and standards, and best practices related to power plant construction, operations, maintenance, and safety • Knowledge of NFPA, NEMA, OSHA, and NEC • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the United States • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employer does not sponsor work authorization
