📋 Description

• Administer commercial and residential construction loan portfolios • Review approval documents, contracts, commitment letters, construction loan agreements, budgets, and draw schedules during initial loan-file setup • Establish controls to monitor construction progress and fund disbursements • Create customized spreadsheets tracking loan-to-value, equity contributions, costs, disbursements, change orders, and remaining funds • Reconcile project tracking with the loan system • Verify required documentation before draw disbursements, including notices, surveys, insurance proof, inspections, lien releases, and draw requests • Communicate with commercial lenders, CBCs, builders, borrowers, and others to resolve disputes and problems • Maintain department procedures and produce and maintain appropriate reports • Support audit and compliance follow-up • Update Documentation Manuals and request Loan Policy Manual changes to align with Commercial Construction Policy and Procedures Manual updates • Facilitate loan servicing, mitigate risk, and support the construction lending process • Adhere to legal, ethical, regulatory, and bank policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction loan administration • 3-5 years of training and supervisory experience • Minimum high school graduate; college degree preferred • Proven problem-solving abilities utilizing available resources to develop technical and analytical skills • Specific knowledge of banking regulations and construction lien law • Familiarity with real estate documentation, construction loan agreements, and AIA documents • Personal computer proficiency with Excel and Word, with adaptability to transfer skills to other software programs • Ability to conceptualize and construct spreadsheets using Excel and troubleshoot errors in formulas or calculations • Comfortable interacting directly with borrowers, commercial lenders, management, and other professionals • Ability to work without close supervision, set priorities, respond to change, make independent decisions, and manage several projects simultaneously • Adherence to applicable legal, ethical, regulatory, and bank policy requirements • Successful completion of annual required training post-hire
