📋 Description

• Own end-to-end development of next-generation AI products • Partner with designers, product managers, and ML engineers to deliver AI-powered user experiences • Develop full-stack features with React/Next.js frontends and Python or Node.js backend services • Integrate LLM APIs and agentic frameworks into product features • Create streaming UIs, tool-call results, and agent status displays • Develop and maintain REST and/or GraphQL APIs • Support user data, session management, and agent interactions • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests • Participate in code reviews • Contribute to a shared on-call rotation and support production systems • Document operational learnings • Participate in architectural discussions and technical proposals for scalable systems

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be available in Washington or California states • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Serko is unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) • Deep, hands-on experience building full-stack applications, with a special focus on native AI stack development • Strong foundational comfort with TypeScript (React, Next.js) on the front end, paired with Python and SQL on the backend • Experience integrating LLM APIs or crafting AI-powered features in production • Understanding of RESTful API design • Understanding of database management, such as PostgreSQL or Redis • Understanding of cloud ecosystems • Familiarity with real-time user experiences using streaming responses such as SSE or WebSockets • Comfort with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployments • Highly developed communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team • Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph is nice to have • Exposure to vector search or RAG-based capabilities is nice to have • Background or interest in interactive interfaces such as chat, copilots, or workflow automation tools is nice to have
