📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority for complex cross-functional domains • Drive delivery of high-complexity systems and foundational abstractions from architecture through production launch • Design and implement cloud-native patterns using Docker and Kubernetes • Build distributed systems for a high-throughput public-stage SaaS platform • Identify systemic technical debt and lead initiatives to improve shared engineering systems • Maintain standards for clean code and performance • Contribute to engineering best practices • Expand the interview bench and mentor senior talent • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership • Translate executive-level goals into technical solutions • Use AI-assisted development tools and integrate AI services into production applications

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of professional engineering experience • Proven track record of building critical APIs and infrastructure • Expert-level, current knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs • Extensive hands-on experience with distributed systems and design patterns including Saga, CQRS, and Event Sourcing • Experience using performance profiling and data analysis for architectural decisions • High proficiency with Git, SQL Server, and advanced debugging/profiling tools • Proactive, no-ego approach to problem-solving • B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Hands-on experience leveraging AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot • Ability to critically evaluate and integrate AI-generated output for correctness, security, and maintainability • Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, or AI services, into production applications • Eagerness to stay current with AI tooling and champion AI-assisted development best practices
