📋 Description

• Design and oversee modern architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric) in multicloud environments • Create replicable reference models for enterprise clients • Assess the cost-effectiveness of ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Fabric versus hybrid/Open Source solutions • Optimize costs and interoperability through FinOps strategy and cloud-agnostic architecture • Establish evolving frameworks, catalogs, lineage, and business roles (Data Owners/Stewards) • Prepare structured and unstructured ecosystems for integration with LLMs, RAG, and generative AI solutions • Guide engineering teams and establish playbooks, DataOps/MLOps best practices, engineering pipelines, and a culture of quality • Work with directors and C-level executives, translating technical decisions into financial impact, reduced cybersecurity risks, and increased productivity • Connect architectural decisions to business outcomes, prioritizing cost efficiency and performance • Operate across data foundations, mature architectures, and the enablement of generative AI • Bring together people, data, and AI to scale the collective intelligence of engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership, consulting, or senior data/AI architecture for enterprise projects • Strong expertise in cloud and big data: Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake), Snowflake, Azure Synapse/Fabric, AWS Redshift/Glue, or GCP BigQuery • Hybrid/Open Source expertise: Spark, Airflow, OpenMetadata, dbt, and Trino to mitigate vendor lock-in • Enterprise governance and integration: Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Apache Atlas, with integration into SAP and ServiceNow • AI and MLOps fundamentals: preparing and exposing data for models, vectorization, embeddings, and RAG • Strategic communication with engineering, cybersecurity, and business decision-makers • Official certifications are valued differentiators: Databricks Certified Professional, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics, or Snowflake Pro • Experience in technology consulting, systems integration, or IT service management (ITSM) is a plus • Experience creating playbooks and Data Operating Models from scratch is a plus
