📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and technology environments • Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities • Design secure, scalable cloud-native security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Develop comprehensive solution proposals and technical documentation • Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer requirements and best practices • Present security solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiation to technical and executive audiences • Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings • Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate and refine proposed solutions • Assist with pre-sales proof-of-concept efforts to validate technical fitness and business value • Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams • Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery teams after opportunity closure • Scope and assist in creating statements of work for professional services aligned with recommended products and solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the West region of the US as required for business needs and as determined by SHI management • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture • Broad understanding of enterprise cloud environments and securing hybrid environments • Strong knowledge of identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations • Familiarity with NIST, CIS, and HITRUST security frameworks and standards • Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment • Strong presentation skills, including live or virtual demonstrations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-up • Initiative to research, learn, and resolve problems with a positive, collaborative mindset • Exceptional relationship-building skills and passion for technology • Strong documentation skills, including system and network diagrams and customer-facing presentations • Intermediate experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS • Intermediate technical identity governance and security knowledge, including CNAPP, CWPP, CIEM, and CDR • Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and providing technical expertise • Expertise in mainstream technologies including Wiz, Orca, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SSCP • Relevant industrial, OEM, vendor, cybersecurity technical, or professional certifications
