📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test platform-independent GUI applications for Windows, OS X, and Linux • Integrate GUI applications with wired and wireless communication protocol stacks and embedded firmware systems in professional audio products • Contribute across all software development phases • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, test engineering, and system engineering to establish use cases, requirements, and software tests • Prototype GUI application software using technologies such as Angular • Participate in architecture, design, coding, integration, and testing • Research and provide data on adopting new application technologies and IDEs • Integrate and test proprietary and non-proprietary networking communication protocols • Estimate, organize, and document tasks • Review peer engineers’ designs and code to ensure software quality • Mentor lower-level staff members on technical work organization, estimation, and prioritization • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application development • Strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects • Hands-on expertise with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js including native addons • Proficiency with git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and SVN • Experience with AngularJS/Angular materials and GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions • Strong understanding of design patterns, application architecture, SOLID principles, and Jasmine/Jest unit testing • Experience developing interfaces with WebSockets • Experience with full software development life cycle management • Proficiency executing projects with agile methodologies • Experience mentoring junior team members • Excellent communication skills for interaction with multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and frameworks such as NRWL • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas
