📋 Description

• Administer and support SIM International’s technology portfolio • Implement and maintain secure, reliable, cost-effective and relevant IT systems and services • Monitor and maintain the reliability, security and user experience of SIM’s IT systems • Update and comply with IT processes, controls and risk management measures • Ensure systems are production-ready, secure, supportable, maintainable and operationally sound • Provide support for Microsoft ecosystem applications • Respond to user needs, questions and requests in a timely manner • Resolve or escalate support requests • Work with vendors and service providers as needed • Encourage development of IT skills within SIM • Develop system and practice recommendations with the IT Services Team, providing a member perspective • Participate in a Community of Practice for SIM personnel with IT skills and interest • Produce relevant, user-friendly content for the IT Site on SharePoint • Invest in personal spiritual vitality and well-being • Practice personal learning and development, rest, renewal and Sabbath

🎯 Requirements

• Commitment to SIM’s Purpose & Mission and to the specific vision of SIM International • Commitment to disciple making and seeing people live as true disciples of Jesus Christ • Professional, reliable and humble, with strong interpersonal skills • An SIM Member or Associate, or willingness to become one • Experience in some, or all, of IT development, cloud-based environments and administration, and user support • Strong technical and analytical skills • Ability to provide end-user training • Flexibility to work across time zones • Oral and written fluency in English • Degree or advanced certification in Computer Science or Information Systems is desirable • Experience with Microsoft tenant administration, especially AI governance is desirable • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI and Power Automate is desirable • Experience with Oracle NetSuite is desirable • Experience with BambooHR is desirable • IT experience in an international mission environment is desirable • Experience in cross-cultural relationships and ability to work collaboratively across cultures is desirable • Experience working with a virtual team is desirable • Multilingual ability, ideally Spanish, French or Portuguese, is desirable • Reliable internet connection with minimum broadband connectivity of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
