📋 Description

• Assist in preparing SEC filings and press releases, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings • Report and analyze key financial metrics and provide in-depth discussion and analysis of business elements and drivers • Assist with iXBRL tagging • Prepare tie-outs of SEC filings, financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and press releases with supporting schedules • Prepare quarterly cash flow statements • Prepare entries related to equity transactions and stock-based compensation • Prepare EPS and Adjusted EPS calculations • Assist with audit deliverables • Assist with accounting guidance research • Coordinate financial reporting deliverables with the U.K. accounting team • Work cross-functionally with Corporate and Insurance Accounting, FP&A, internal audit, and external audit teams • Perform additional duties based on business needs

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in public accounting, and/or relevant industry or SEC reporting experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reviewing financial data • Understanding of business operations, objectives, and metrics • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • CPA designation or CPA candidate preferred • Strong organizational skills to manage daily responsibilities • Detail oriented, able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment • Insurance industry experience preferred • SEC reporting experience preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement • Strong initiative to research issues, develop potential solutions, and effectively partner with other business areas
