📋 Description

• Lead design and development for the global hardware engineering team • Partner with Software and Product leads to define hardware architecture, including silicon selection and system power, thermal, and mechanical decisions aligned with target COGs • Drive multidisciplinary hardware development across board and system design, power, signal integrity, ECAD, mechanical/thermal, validation, and compliance • Evaluate design-for-manufacturing, reliability, and quality trade-offs • Provide executive leadership visibility into performance, risks, and priorities • Drive career planning, compensation, employee development, hiring, and resourcing plans across the hardware organization • Shape hardware product strategy and roadmap definition while influencing revenue, cost structure, and customer delivery

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in EE or CE • 15+ years of technical experience • 10+ years of technical and people leadership experience • Relevant experience designing hardware products, including architecture, PCB design, power management, and logic design • Experience supporting new product introductions and influencing cross-functional decisions • Experience driving hardware development through internal and JDM/ODM models • Ability to operate effectively at executive level with internal and external JDM and supply-chain executives • Experience building and leading high-performing teams • Strong strategic communication, operations, and financial acumen • Preferred: experience with servers, network security, firewalls, and/or edge networking products • Preferred: understanding of platform software requirements and architectural decision-making for integrated systems • Preferred: ability to drive decisions across mechanical/thermal, signal integrity, ECAD, diagnostics, validation, and compliance functions • Preferred: familiarity with global JDM/ODM ecosystems, especially in Asia • Preferred: partnership with Software, Marketing, and Supply Chain leadership for go-to-market and product lifecycle management
