📋 Description

• Provide quality instruction in assigned courses within the approved academic program curriculum • Respond promptly to information requests from institutional officials, employers, organizations, agencies, foundations, the public, and students • Promote appropriate standards of linguistic expression in written and oral communications • Complete and submit academic program requirements and documentation, including clinical evaluations and competency documentation, by established deadlines • Meet faculty expectations weekly • Manage classroom activities • Remain reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance • Monitor educational and professional literature for best practices related to courses taught • Report directly to the Program Coordinator of the MSN FNP Program

🎯 Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) • Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably in the Family Nurse Practice specialty • Professional experience in pediatrics is required • Online teaching experience greatly preferred • Non-FNP faculty with experience teaching at the MSN level may be considered for select core MSN courses • Must have PA, LA, TN, and GA APRN licenses
