📋 Description

• Provide incident triage and root-cause identification for application and system issues reported by FMCSA stakeholders • Ensure timely fulfillment of service requests • Monitor and optimize AWS cloud resources • Collaborate with federal and state customers, developers, and IT teams • Tailor and monitor alerts for application and system availability and performance using WhatsUp Gold and AWS Synthetic Canaries • Maintain existing resource attributes for AWS inventory • Utilize AWS services to identify potential process and system improvements • Apply software patches or configuration changes to address security issues on Windows or Linux servers and systems • Perform or coordinate storage clean-up activities on servers • Install releases in non-production and production environments • Resolve tier 2 and tier 3 tickets, including system and application-level outages, with support as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience with an associate degree or 5 years or more of IT experience without a degree • US Citizenship • Active Public Trust • Ability to pass a complete background check, including Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History • Fingerprinting required for Public Trust background investigation • Basic knowledge of querying databases • Basic understanding of site certificates/renewals and CSR creations • 2+ years of experience with AWS CloudWatch • 2+ years of Windows and/or Linux experience • Understanding of network infrastructures, firewalls, and load balancers • Ability to work in a flexible and fluid environment • Experience with IT Service Management tools, e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc.
