📋 Description

• Own delivery of Trajectory Generation and Controls features from design through integration • Provide input to team roadmaps and ensure timely feature delivery • Collaborate with systems engineers to deliver safe, well-tested products • Write modern C++ and Python software using unit testing, simulation, and log simulation • Collaborate with Autonomy teams including Constraint Generation, Trajectory Selection, World Fusion, Prediction, Perception, Localization, and Calibration • Participate in design and iteration exercises and align stakeholders through presentations and communication

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD is a plus • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Experience building motion planning and/or control systems for real world applications • Knowledge and experience with optimal control or dynamic optimization, especially model predictive control or real-time trajectory generation • Knowledge and experience with vehicle dynamics, system identification and real-time control algorithms • Fluent in modern C++ • Experience with Python • Ability to satisfy applicable U.S. national security, residence, U.S. person status, citizenship status, and export-control requirements, where applicable
