• Drive premium growth and maximize customer retention among accounts with over 5,000 lives • Identify and pursue revenue-generation opportunities • Act as a strategic and consultative partner for national accounts • Lead renewal strategies and own customer relationships throughout the customer lifecycle • Analyze customer data, pricing trends, claim trends, and customer metrics • Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Benefits, Consulting, and other internal partners • Deliver tailored solutions and support successful implementation • Conduct root cause analysis and strategic account planning • Help drive finalist meetings to secure business • Serve as a subject matter expert on tools, resources, and inforce capabilities • Apply expertise in absence management, statutory regulations, and claims • Monitor competitors' strengths and weaknesses and compete with fresh capabilities • Enhance claims service, improve results, and increase customer satisfaction and retention • Deliver stewardship presentations and clear reporting • Support customers and consultants in renewal, coverage, and performance-guarantee decisions • Manage logistics for sales and customer presentations • Maintain accurate internal customer documentation • Foster strong business relationships at every organizational level
• Bachelor's degree required • 5+ years of demonstrated relationship management experience in the group insurance or benefits field • FLMI, CPDM, and/or CEBS preferred • Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the office's assigned territory • Occasional travel required, including planning events, team building, or conferences • Ability to analyze customer data, pricing trends, claims, and customer metrics • Knowledge of absence management and statutory regulations • Ability to lead renewals, finalist meetings, stewardship presentations, and customer presentations • Ability to collaborate across Sales, Underwriting, Benefits, Consulting, and other divisions • Must pass criminal background, employment, education, and licensing verification • Must be bondable
