📋 Description

• Own one or more integration domains end-to-end, including roadmap, architecture decisions, trade-offs, and delivery • Identify problems, scope work, and drive projects to completion • Make architectural decisions regarding system boundaries, API contracts, reliability targets, and build-vs-buy trade-offs • Architect and deliver microservice-based solutions using REST, GraphQL, streaming APIs, MCP, and LLM-powered automation • Connect the platform with cybersecurity tools and third-party services • Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing sessions, and code reviews • Set technical direction and champion quality, documentation, secure coding, and distributed-systems best practices • Accelerate design and development using LLM coding assistants, AI-driven testing, and automated code review • Automate builds, deployments, monitoring, and incident triage using AI and scripting • Champion AI adoption, build internal tooling, and measure efficiency gains • Attend an on-site interview as a successful finalist

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 8+ years of backend software development experience • 3+ years in a Staff-level or tech lead role where you owned a domain or led a team • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java • Strong foundation in building and operating microservices in production • Deep experience with API design and integration, including REST, GraphQL, streaming, LLM APIs, and embedding services • Experience with secure API patterns, including OAuth, API keys, and rate limiting • Strong background in distributed systems, message queues such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, or orchestration frameworks such as Celery and Airflow • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT in production engineering workflows • Track record of mentoring engineers and raising team technical capabilities • Excellent system design, debugging, and communication skills • Preferred: Experience in cybersecurity domains such as SOAR, EDR, SIEM, or XDR • Preferred: Experience with large-scale data processing, real-time pipelines, or event-driven architectures • Preferred: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Helm • Preferred: Experience with MCP, function calling, agent orchestration frameworks, LLMs, or AI services
