📋 Description

• Assess current-state data architectures, data models, integrations, and data flows • Define target-state and transition-state data architectures aligned with business and technology strategies • Develop architecture roadmaps supporting migration to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platform capabilities • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models • Design and document end-to-end data flows, integration patterns, and data lifecycle processes • Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for rationalization, modernization, and improved data quality • Collaborate with data and systems architects, enterprise architects, product managers, delivery teams, and business stakeholders • Establish standards, principles, and best practices for data architecture, modeling, and governance • Support implementation teams with architecture guidance, reviews, and recommendations • Evaluate and recommend approaches for data integration, reporting, analytics, and information management • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data architecture and governance practices

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture • Demonstrated experience defining current-state, transition-state, and target-state data architectures and modernization roadmaps • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, medallion architecture, and analytics capabilities • Experience with cloud-based data modernization • Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling • Experience designing data integration, transformation, and end-to-end data flows • Experience with architecture and data modeling tools, preferably Sparx Enterprise Architect • Experience with business or enterprise architecture • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and master data management • Experience with Power BI and enterprise analytics • Experience with TOGAF or another enterprise architecture framework • Advanced written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills • Accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and adapt to changing circumstances • Ability to interact efficiently and courteously with all levels of staff and management • Leadership skills across projects, departments, and divisions • Ability to work independently and deliver solutions in complex enterprise environments
