📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, learning coaches, and parents • Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Maintain the grade book and ensure student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Support parents and learning coaches with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Collaborate with teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Use student data to drive instructional decisions • Travel as required, on average once per month and/or approximately 20% of the time, for professional development, student testing, and school functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Active state teaching license • Required Oklahoma High School Social Studies Teaching Certification • Must reside in Oklahoma • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during the workday, typically 9–5 or 8–4 • Experience working with the proposed age group desired • Experience supporting adults and children in using technology desired • Experience teaching in an online/virtual and/or brick-and-mortar environment desired • Experience with online learning platforms desired • Ability to collaborate with teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations desired • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
