📋 Description

• Configure, test, implement, and optimize Workday functionality • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and processes • Support implementation, testing, data validation, cutover, go-live, and stabilization • Troubleshoot complex configuration and production issues • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT, and business stakeholders • Support Workday releases, enhancements, and ongoing production needs • For Payroll: manage pay groups, calendars, earnings, deductions, payroll taxes, tax jurisdictions, payroll accounting, GL mapping, retroactive and off-cycle payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits touchpoints, parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, cutover, go-live, EIBs, and payroll-related data conversion • For HCM: configure Core HCM, organizations, staffing, positions, job structures, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Performance, business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards; support testing, releases, optimization, and production

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of relevant Workday/enterprise application experience • Strong hands-on Workday configuration expertise in Payroll or HCM • Workday implementation, optimization, or major system initiative experience • Strong business analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and stakeholder engagement skills • Deep hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and implementation experience for the Payroll profile • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements for the Payroll profile • Strong hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience for the HCM profile • Workday certifications valued, but not required • Healthcare, higher education, or complex enterprise experience preferred
