📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Payable function • Lead Accounts Payable team members by answering questions, handling timecards, and conducting bimonthly check-ins • Identify training opportunities to enhance team knowledge and performance • Assess behaviors and coach direct reports on GRIT and cultural values • Set objectives and coach team members to achieve team, department, and functional goals • Communicate updates, weekly statistics, and important information to the team • Complete annual reviews with each team member • Attend and lead meetings with internal teams and external parties such as suppliers • Ensure weekly payment runs are accurate and completed • Set up payments for review and check payments for accuracy and completeness • Review vendor statements monthly • Prepare monthly AP reporting and insights and delegate resolution action items • Identify purchase order trends and discount opportunities • Resolve complex issues with internal and external parties • Manage data entry and reporting in NetSuite • Respond to coworker inquiries professionally and promptly • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls • Collaborate with internal partners to improve processes, support month-end close activities, and drive operational efficiency • Perform other responsibilities assigned by SupplyHouse leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree • 2+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience • 2+ years of leadership experience • Proficient data entry skills • Strong attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Pleasant and personable demeanor • Understanding of how the movement of inventory affects account balances • Understanding of the impact of vendor invoices and credits to different general ledger accounts • Willingness to try and suggest new processes, provide feedback and communicate effectively seeking to understand to provide thoughtful solutions • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis • Willingness to live in or relocate to Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with time zone flexibility • Successful completion of a background check
