📋 Description

• Find the problems worth solving across the business, decide what to build, and build it • Report to the VP of Engineering • Build full-stack features for school administrators and substitute teachers • Build operational systems for the marketplace, including billing, timekeeping, configuration, integrations, and admin tools • Build automations and AI agents to replace manual work • Work directly with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, and Finance • Take problems from first conversation through shipped software • Define requirements, set scope, make UX and product tradeoffs, and determine when work is ready to ship • Use data and user feedback to measure results • Automate repetitive workflows using software, AI agents, APIs, MCP, and n8n

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering or equivalent hands-on product building • Shipped real products that customers use • Hands-on experience with React for building user interfaces in JavaScript or TypeScript • Experience working with REST APIs • Experience using SQL and relational databases • Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, agents, or AI-powered workflows • Ability to define requirements, set scope, make UX and product tradeoffs, and decide when work is ready to ship • Ability to collaborate during U.S. business hours • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future sponsorship • Experience with Clojure or another Lisp, Datomic, AWS infrastructure, or browser extensions is advantageous
