📋 Description

• Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects in person and by telephone • Respond to client inquiries and resolve client issues • Support the firm-wide three-ring standard • Supervise, mentor, coach, and manage Accounting Operations Reconciliation Specialists • Conduct coaching sessions and routine human resources-related responsibilities as needed • Manage daily workflow and ensure timely, accurate completion of team responsibilities • Perform complex daily and monthly general ledger and internal deposit account reconciliations • Review specialist-prepared reconciliations, verify supporting documentation, and identify stale items • Oversee accounting functions for bank subsidiaries and bank transactions • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards and processes • Prepare and oversee Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y8, FR Y-12, and other required filings • Perform research projects to ensure accurate accounting entries and financial and regulatory reporting • Participate in conversions and product implementations to ensure proper ledger transaction flow • Adhere to internal controls and applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies • Support clients' business and personal financial needs and refer them to specialty areas • Assist other team members and perform related assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent • College degree in accounting preferred • Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services, specifically in finance, accounting, and/or operations • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software • Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations and compliance requirements relating to data integrity, data security, and privacy • Understanding of control measures and requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Understanding of relevant financial, mathematical, and accounting techniques • Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks • Excellent client service skills • Tact and diplomacy in dealing with clients and team members • May require FINRA licensing/certifications • Ability to perform the listed physical activities and sustain prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and mental concentration
