📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day direction and support to the Payables Team • Oversee and coordinate accounts payable team activities • Guide staff, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems as appropriate • Lead, develop, and support AP staff • Ensure timely payment processing and completion of AP invoice processing activities • Resolve payment disputes and perform account reconciliations • Coordinate with SBS Global and Local processing teams to achieve service levels and quality requirements • Review and analyze metric reports and address areas of concern • Oversee root cause investigations and develop process improvement solutions • Work closely with the Service Delivery Lead to obtain final approval on issues and reporting needs • Make decisions, communicate, and troubleshoot escalated issues • Oversee Global processing teams to ensure service levels and quality requirements are achieved

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent • 5 years progressive, related experience in accounts payable • 2 years supervisory or team leader experience leading team members • Strong knowledge of accounts payable policies and processes • Strong analytical skills • Strong leadership and communication skills • Knowledge of accounting applications • Strong analytical and issue resolution capabilities • Microsoft Office proficiency • Experience with specialized accounting/finance software and ERP systems, such as Workday • Ability to collaborate and work across functions within Sysco and with GPOs • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard and mouse, and telephone • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
