📋 Description

• Ensure delivery of high-quality technology solutions through manual testing and quality assurance practices • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and confirm functional, integration, and business expectations • Lead testing efforts for medium- to large-scale initiatives • Develop test strategies and design, execute, and document detailed test scenarios • Maintain traceability between requirements and testing outcomes • Identify risks, document and manage defects, and provide quality reporting • Mentor Quality Engineers and promote continuous improvement and quality standards • Deliver test strategy, planning, test design/development, automation, and execution • Integrate quality practices into continuous delivery processes • Provide test development and automation support throughout development and design • Determine testing impacts across multiple delivery teams • Identify and mitigate risks and validate business outcomes • Build optimized test approaches and tooling strategies • Leverage virtual assets for incomplete or unavailable code, services, and databases • Implement test tools, processes, resources, frameworks, and automation for functional and non-functional testing • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD/CT pipelines • Identify reusable test assets and testing efficiencies • Lead cross-functional collaboration to assess user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done/Ready • Coach and mentor others on BDD/TDD principles • Support test architecture and troubleshoot automation frameworks across delivery teams • Ensure source-code quality and contribute to built-in quality during design and development • Conduct test asset reviews for quality, standards compliance, reusability, and maintainability • Analyze quality data, recommend improvements, and implement remediation plans • Manage risks, governance issues, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder relationships • Share quality engineering knowledge, support team development, and keep current with emerging trends

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of relevant experience • Strong academic background in software engineering, computer science, or related field • Encompass experience preferred • Residential Mortgage and/or Home Equity Lending experience preferred • Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Software Testing experience • Strong expertise in manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing • Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into test scenarios and test cases • Experience working in Agile delivery environments • Proficiency with quality management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and JTMF • Advanced knowledge of test architecture frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures • Advanced experience in software configuration, code, and release management • Experience with test automation, BDD/TDD, CI/CD/CT pipelines, test data management, virtualization, performance, accessibility, security, and reliability testing • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentorship skills • Ability to independently lead testing efforts across multiple teams • Ability to work autonomously on complex application and solution issues • Ability to understand architecture blueprints, diagrams, and logical data models • Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
