📋 Description

• Evaluate and ensure the scalability, reliability and responsiveness of Salesforce applications across multiple Salesforce environments • Plan, design, execute and analyze performance tests across Salesforce Orgs, integrations, APIs and custom components • Develop performance test strategies for Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud • Build and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner • Simulate user loads for Salesforce UI, Experience Cloud portals, API integrations and batch/async processes • Validate response times, throughput, latency, governor limits, platform events and asynchronous queue responses • Document performance defects with detailed reproduction steps and logs • Capture, analyze and report performance metrics related to Apex, SOQL queries, flows, REST/SOAP APIs and LWC components • Evaluate integration performance across external APIs, AWS/Snowflake data fetches and authentication flows • Collaborate with developers, architects and cross-functional teams to optimize code, configurations, integrations and caching • Set up advanced monitoring as needed to analyze system performance • Validate scalability for high-traffic public portals, high-volume APIs, seasonal surges and enterprise releases • Participate in Agile software development initiatives, including standups, planning, grooming and estimation • Conduct peer reviews of test cases and test documents • Remotely support Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services activities through the FSSSO program

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree and 8+ years of hands-on performance testing experience, including at least 4 years of Salesforce performance testing experience • Hands-on experience with large, complex Salesforce projects • Proficiency navigating Salesforce and comprehensive understanding of Salesforce terminology • Expertise in QA test management on Salesforce, including functional and non-functional testing • Experience executing test plans and regression test suites, including UI, back end, components and integrations, using web and API automation • Hands-on experience developing automation test scripts from scratch • Experience using Micro Focus/OpenText, Performance Center (LoadRunner), Selenium WebDriver, and/or Cucumber with RESTful services • Experience integrating testing tools with Jenkins/GitHub • Expert experience developing testing documentation, including Test Summary Reports and requirements traceability reports • Ability to analyze performance test reports and identify application and infrastructure performance issues and bottlenecks • Ability to assess and optimize network performance • Knowledge of API integration performance testing with REST, SOAP and GraphQL • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences • Willingness and ability to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance (T4) • Must have lived in the United States at least three of the last five years • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification preferred • Experience testing Salesforce-to-Snowflake ETL/ELT pipeline performance preferred • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated performance testing preferred • Experience working with or interfacing with CMS preferred • Ability to resolve issues with little oversight and develop alternative solutions • Proficiency with data exchange tools and technologies, including APIs • Experience interpreting customer business requirements, writing functional test cases and performing software quality tests • Experience with proactive monitoring technologies such as New Relic, AppDynamics, DynaTrace and/or Splunk • Expert understanding of Salesforce best practices • Experience testing real-time data synchronization versus batch-processing performance trade-offs • Experience working in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment • Salesforce Administration experience • Experience using JMeter • Expert experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA
