📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframes • Refactor legacy code so modern cloud and mobile applications can interact with mainframe core data • Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain or enhance mainframe performance • Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions • Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services • Collaborate with a global community of experts on mainframe modernization

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects • Excellent coding skills and solid development experience in Java, Python, .NET, or similar • Debugging and problem-solving skills • Experience with software development methodologies and developing scalable, robust software • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services • Knowledge of architecture design, including microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred) • Certification in one or more hyperscalers, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, or willingness to obtain certifications with Kyndryl (preferred)
