📋 Description

• Lead teams of 5 or more people responsible for application design, development, testing, and defect resolution • Lead preparation and review of system-level application software designs spanning multiple systems and company-wide business processes • Lead cross-functional teams in preparing work estimates and project schedules for technical project work • Mentor team members in developing work plans • Lead work teams in resolving complex, unique problems across multiple systems and team boundaries • Maintain authoritative knowledge of systems within the team’s responsibility • Advise business process owners on the use and modification of system software • Maintain expert-level knowledge of software development best practices, tools, and methodologies • Lead quality and continuous improvement initiatives across business units • Maintain expert knowledge of technologies and practices in the company’s chosen markets • Monitor trends in technologies and vendor product offerings • Lead the team’s use of AI coding tools, including setting code review standards, defining appropriate use, and sharing reusable prompts and automation • Participate in technical interviews of job candidates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience • 5+ years experience in software development or testing • Knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering • Knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, and tools • Knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, and tools • Knowledge of one or more programming languages used by the team • Knowledge of software testing practices and tools • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and tools • Ability to travel as needed for company business and professional development • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for system implementations and resolving system problems • Knowledge of business analysis practices and business process modeling • Knowledge of quality management and quality improvement practices • Knowledge of team leadership skills, practices, and behaviors • Knowledge of techniques, tools, and applicable laws to conduct effective and legal interviews • Knowledge of techniques for writing and presenting business proposals to management • Knowledge of effective writing and public speaking skills; ability to convey complex information to general audiences • Knowledge of C# / .NET or a comparable primary stack • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server), including data modeling and query performance • Knowledge of event-driven or streaming integration (e.g. Kafka), including ordering, duplicate delivery, and replay
