📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines across Techstars systems, including Salesforce, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and internal APIs • Own and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure using Helm, OpenTofu, and GitHub Actions • Manage deployment tooling, secrets management, and cluster health • Partner with the senior security engineer on incident response, observability, and infrastructure reliability • Maintain and improve the PostgreSQL database layer, including schema design, migrations, query performance, and data integrity • Support Salesforce data flows and broader platform integrations • Build and maintain internal tooling and integrations connecting third-party SaaS tools to Techstars OS • Contribute to CI/CD practices, testing, code review, documentation, and engineering standards • Work in an agile team environment with product backlogs, sprints, and regular production delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience building and maintaining data pipelines, including ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to downstream consumers • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, query optimization, and data modeling • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, including Helm, kubectl, and debugging workloads • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as OpenTofu or Terraform • Strong Python skills for data engineering, scripting, and automation • Strong understanding of agentic development in a team environment • Familiarity with AWS services including S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and related tooling • DevOps mindset with understanding of observability and reliability; Prometheus/Grafana experience is a plus • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills • Experience working in agile development environments with a product team • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly • E-Verify work authorization verification applies to all new hires
