📋 Description

• Guide healthcare clients in using technology to achieve their goals • Contribute to engagements involving strategy, implementations, and process improvement • Assess client needs and define data architecture solutions aligned with business objectives • Validate designs and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions • Support data-related projects from inception to completion • Provide guidance on data governance, security, and optimization best practices • Collaborate with clients to align architecture with data strategy and operational needs • Advise clients on maximizing data value and improving business decision-making • Lead design sessions, build stakeholder consensus, and inform developers on key decisions and best practices • Serve as project leader, team member, or independent consultant as assigned • Understand client challenges and goals and present solution options • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables • Mediate among teams with varying interests to reach mutually beneficial solutions • Communicate updates and manage client expectations • Track and communicate decisions and contribute to change management • Document processes, analyze gaps, and deliver actionable improvements • Build, test, train, and implement infrastructure, workflows, and policies • Develop work plans for self or a small team • Track and report measurable impact for the client and Tegria • Identify engagement risks, create mitigation plans, and notify stakeholders of delays or obstacles • Guide and mentor client teams to support long-term success, ownership, and knowledge transfer • Execute work in accordance with service line strategy • Mentor team members, support internal efforts, and contribute to business growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, IT, or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Master’s degree or PhD preferred • Vendor certifications (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, EHR vendor, TriZetto FACETS, etc.) • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) • Certification in Epic preferred • Typically 5+ years of professional experience delivering project or program enhancements within a healthcare organization, payer, or healthcare consulting practice • Experience with architectural tools, including EMR reporting tools, data extraction tools, and data pipeline tools • Experience connecting business intelligence tools to multiple data stores such as Azure, Oracle, SQL Server, Google BigQuery, Hadoop Hive, and Spark SQL • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining a cloud data platform at the architect level • Experience with data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms • Experience in presales solution architecture preferred • Experience with Agile and Scrum processes and methodologies • Experience mentoring less experienced team members • Proven experience as a Data Architect, including solution design and client presentations, preferred • Knowledge of SQL database development and unstructured data processing • Knowledge of data pipeline tools such as Azure, SSIS, AWS, and EMR extracts • Knowledge of data warehouse design, ETL/ELT data pipelines, T-SQL, Spark, and Python • Knowledge of data quality best practices • Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, ICD-10, and CPT codes, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA • Ability to work with source-agnostic and disparate data sources • Strong expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, preferred • Familiarity with cloud cost management tools preferred • Curiosity and enthusiasm for healthcare IT and data analytics • Deep business acumen within the healthcare sector
