📋 Description

• Design, build, and improve well-defined software features within existing systems • Apply engineering fundamentals to break down problems and evaluate solution options with guidance • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established best practices • Create and run unit and basic functional tests • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving sessions • Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues with increasing independence • Use modern development tools, version control, and testing frameworks • Document technical decisions and learnings • Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions • Continuously learn and develop software engineering skills

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience • Minor or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping • Experience with Java or Python • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software fundamentals • Experience with at least one programming language and version control such as Git • Familiarity with testing, build tools, and team workflows • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and desire to grow as an engineer • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future • Candidates must be located in one of the specified eligible U.S. states • Exposure to Agile or iterative development environments is a plus • Experience working in shared codebases through coursework or projects is a plus
