📋 Description

• Execute assigned payroll tax tasks, including accurate payroll runs, output report reviews, tax filings and payments, and compliance support across active jurisdictions • Research and resolve standard State and Federal payroll tax notices, escalating complex cases to senior team members • Draft written responses to agency notices with supporting documentation and submit them by required deadlines • Prepare standard amended payroll tax returns, including Form 941-X and state equivalents, with guidance on complex adjustments • Support payroll correction workflows by gathering error details, calculating quarterly tax impacts, and maintaining audit documentation • Manage personal work queue according to SLA deadlines and document each case thoroughly • Identify recurring issues and data patterns and share findings with senior staff • Help maintain team documentation by flagging outdated SOPs and Knowledge Base articles and recommending updates • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience • Must be 18 years of age or older • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute • Comfortable with desktop computer systems and general knowledge of Windows-based systems • Customer service and/or sales experience preferred • College degree preferred but not required • Ability to follow established procedures and deliver customer service • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support departments • Outstanding communication, listening, and analytical skills • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure • Open-minded approach to feedback, evolving policies, and a structured schedule with varied shifts • Sharp critical thinking skills • Proactive problem-solving approach • Dedicated workspace near router for hardwired Ethernet connection • Internet speed of at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with ISP under 50ms • Internet connection cannot be satellite, mobile data/hotspot, P2P, or VPN • Proof of internet speed required • Must reside in one of the eligible US states
