📋 Description

• Work on Teleport Core Product across performance, scalability, security, networking, and integrations with external systems • Work through the full product lifecycle, from understanding customer problems to writing RFDs, implementing, testing, and documenting solutions • Become an expert on Teleport scalability, performance, and reliability in large deployments • Design, develop, and ship high-quality products • Lead a distributed team of engineers • Write most code in Go • Collaborate with other Teleport teams on scalability and performance • Work directly with customers to diagnose and remediate performance issues • Grow technical expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to collaborate on a coding challenge in Go as part of the interview process • Builder mentality and hands-on experience building zero-to-one products • Extensive Go experience • Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms • Strong team leadership • Engineering management experience • Linux systems engineering experience • Knowledge of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to master new technologies • Transparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset • Significant open-source contributions are a plus • Must currently live in the US • Must be able to attend onboarding week in person at Teleport HQ in Oakland, California • Must be willing to undergo background, education, and employment verification • Must complete a take-home coding challenge in Go using GitHub, typically taking about two weeks
