📋 Description

• Set technical direction for the compute environment • Design scalable and resilient server and virtualization architectures • Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end and drive capacity and lifecycle planning • Establish team standards and best practices, review work, and guide other engineers • Provision, configure, patch, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot physical servers and Windows/Linux virtual machines • Design and administer hypervisor environments, including host management, resource allocation, snapshots, templates, and high availability/clustering • Administer Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, hybrid identity, conditional access, roles, and SSO integrations • Manage Microsoft Intune device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment • Provision and support Windows 365 Cloud PCs • Support backend systems and troubleshoot authentication, networking, and integration issues • Automate provisioning and maintenance using PowerShell and other scripting tools • Implement monitoring, alerting, backup/recovery, patching, hardening, and access controls • Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis • Maintain configuration, procedure, and runbook documentation • Collaborate with networking, security, applications, and helpdesk teams and provide escalation support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field • 5–7 years of experience in systems/infrastructure/compute engineering or a similar IT operations role • Deep, expert-level experience administering Windows Server and solid working knowledge of Linux • Proven experience designing and managing a virtualization platform such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V at scale • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, including Entra Connect, conditional access, role-based access control, and SSO integrations • Advanced experience with Microsoft Intune for device configuration, compliance, and application deployment • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting Windows 365 / Cloud PC at scale • Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly in PowerShell • Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPN • Experience designing and managing backup, monitoring, and patch management • Excellent troubleshooting skills across applications, identity, and infrastructure layers • Experience leading infrastructure projects and guiding other engineers • Strong communication and documentation skills • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, VMware VCP, or equivalent are preferred • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible is preferred • Experience with Microsoft 365 services and Defender for Endpoint is preferred • Familiarity with ITIL or structured change-management practices is preferred
