• Participate in a remote, AI-moderated interview focused on engineering workflows • Walk through the process for architecting computational pipelines from scratch • Explain how to handle the scale and complexity of genomic data • Discuss technical tradeoffs in building bioinformatics environments • Detail deployment strategies and infrastructure choices • Discuss recent projects, architectural decisions, and deployment strategies
🎯 Requirements
• Professional experience as a software engineer or computational data engineer • Deep domain expertise in genomics or bioinformatics • Hands-on experience building scalable computational environments from the ground up • Proven track record of building scalable data pipelines from scratch • Strong architectural experience • Comfort discussing biological domain constraints and software engineering principles • Comfort discussing technical architectural decisions • Relevant backgrounds include backend software engineering, bioinformatics science, genomics data engineering, or computational biology
