📋 Description

• Own real product surfaces end to end across backend data models, Hotwire front end, background jobs, third-party calls, and mobile work • Ship working, tested integration features every week in the smallest shippable pieces • Partner with product and design to turn rough problems into shipped features • Monitor features in production and own fixes end to end • Contribute to abstractions, tooling, and AI-assisted workflows that accelerate integrations and feature development • Improve other engineers' effectiveness through teaching-oriented code reviews and early context sharing • Take on increasingly ambiguous problems and greater ownership over time • Build agency back-office, advisor workflow, supplier, finance, and support engineering capabilities • Use production monitoring and feedback from support, AppSignal, Bugsnag, and Canny • Participate in practical hiring exercises and interviews focused on demonstrated execution

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of owning full-stack features across backend data modeling, business logic, and front-end UI • Real production experience in Ruby on Rails or a comparable MVC framework • Ability to drive ambiguous, underspecified problems to working outcomes independently • Product sense and willingness to challenge specifications when user experience does not add up • Reliability instincts covering edge cases, failure modes, and observability • Specific examples of using AI to work faster or better while questioning its output • Fluency sufficient to become productive quickly with Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Postgres, Heroku, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Hex, and Claude Code • Willingness to work across agency back-office, advisor workflows, supplier, finance, support engineering, mobile, integrations, and other product areas • Demonstrated evidence of shipped work and its impact • Ability to work from the United States
