📋 Description

• Architect scalable, secure software solutions and provide technical leadership • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices • Design and develop modern React applications integrated with Java Spring Boot services • Build responsive interfaces for desktops, ruggedized tablets, and handheld devices in Army environments • Design, deploy, and maintain secure applications and APIs in Microsoft Azure • Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for scalable, mission-critical systems • Integrate passive and active RFID technologies, handheld scanners, mobile computing devices, and peripheral hardware • Support Army logistics, inventory management, and asset visibility • Collaborate directly with Army stakeholders, program offices, and end users to gather requirements and validate technical solutions • Deliver capabilities operating reliably within Army enterprise network environments • Design solutions across secure DoD infrastructures addressing cybersecurity, performance, reliability, and interoperability • Partner with Product Managers to refine requirements, estimate work, groom backlogs, and guide sprint execution and production deployments • Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, systems engineers, infrastructure teams, and government stakeholders from concept through fielding

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications • Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers • Strong experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL • Experience building and consuming REST APIs • Experience deploying applications in Microsoft Azure • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Active Security+ certification • Familiarity with Army or DoD enterprise network environments • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement skills • Experience leading agile teams and managing backlogs • Top-notch communication skills to manage stakeholders, inspire teams, and advocate for the product • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; active clearance preferred • CKAD or equivalent preferred as a bonus • Experience developing applications for tablets, handhelds, and mobile devices preferred as a bonus • Experience integrating RFID devices, barcode scanners, and peripheral hardware preferred as a bonus • Proven track record delivering solutions in DoD or similarly complex environments preferred as a bonus
