📋 Description

• Help specialty pharmacy patients coordinate medication needs and pharmacy insurance coverage • Answer patient calls and address inquiries with care, detail, and empathy • Coordinate and ensure services are covered under insurance • Explain deductibles, co-payments, and authorizations to patients • Research benefits coverage issues with pharmacists and doctors’ offices • Provide guidance about medication coverage • Handle multiple requests while maintaining attention to detail • Document conversation information in the computer system

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required • Customer Service experience • Health care experience with knowledge of medical insurance and terminology preferred • General PC knowledge • Experience working with Microsoft Office • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for home-based work
