📋 Description

• Support talent acquisition efforts and manage the front end of the hiring process • Review resumes and employment applications • Conduct initial phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications, work history, communication skills, and overall fit • Document interview notes and candidate assessments • Maintain timely communication with applicants • Assist with candidate sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics with hiring managers • Confirm candidate availability and maintain hiring records and interview schedules • Initiate and monitor pre-employment background checks • Request and review Motor Vehicle Records for driving-related positions • Ensure screening documentation is completed and received • Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and screening results • Present qualified, screened candidates to the Director of Human Resources • Update applicant tracking systems and recruiting records • Prepare candidate status reports and recruiting updates • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organization and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Strong professionalism and ability to handle confidential information • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, administrative support, or sales preferred • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms preferred • Experience conducting phone interviews or candidate screenings preferred • Preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST
