📋 Description

• Act as a strategic risk advisor to clients • Identify emerging risks and co-create practical risk mitigation solutions • Tailor recommendations to each client’s industry, risk profile, and business priorities • Conduct multi-line risk assessments and consultations using onsite, hybrid, and virtual/digital delivery models • Develop and execute data-driven service plans addressing loss drivers, operational exposures, and client objectives • Translate complex technical findings into clear insights for clients, agents, and underwriting partners • Leverage dashboards, virtual tools, analytics, AI-enabled insights, and other emerging technologies • Contribute to innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within Risk Engineering • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, sales, data, and technical experts • Identify opportunities to expand Risk Services offerings and support profitable growth • Participate in continuous learning and stay current on industry trends, emerging risks, and technologies • Mentor, coach, and support less experienced risk engineering consultants as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years progressive experience in risk engineering, safety, loss control, or related consulting roles • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) strongly preferred in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, Environmental Health, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience • High School diploma required • Strong ability to assess risk, interpret loss data, identify trends, and develop targeted mitigation strategies • Comfort using digital tools, analytics, and technology-enabled platforms • Demonstrated customer-centric mindset • Ability to provide proactive consultation and influence adoption of recommendations • Strong storytelling with data skills • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Experience preparing technical reports and delivering client-facing presentations • Ability to collaborate across underwriting, claims, sales, agents, brokers, and technical partners • Digital fluency and willingness to learn and adopt new tools, platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities • Commitment to continuous learning and expanding technical and consultative expertise • Ability to achieve or maintain at least one professional safety or risk management certification, such as CSP, CIH, ARM, CPCU, or CHST
