📋 Description

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs • Develop and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue or similar frameworks • Design, implement, and maintain well-structured, testable code • Review pull requests and provide constructive, actionable feedback • Debug, refactor, and improve existing systems, including legacy components • Use AI tools across coding, debugging, and documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver features and resolve issues • Establish and document engineering best practices for the team • Own problems from scoping through release, including new development and system improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Experience writing TypeScript and modern JavaScript in production applications • Experience building frontend applications with Vue.js or a similar framework • Experience developing backend services with Node.js • Knowledge of REST APIs and software design principles • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and relational databases • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Ability to learn new systems quickly in ambiguous problem spaces • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical partners • Experience using AI tools to speed up development while maintaining code quality • Nice to have: experience with AWS, queues, or serverless systems such as Lambda • Nice to have: exposure to AI-powered or AI-adjacent systems • Nice to have: backend experience beyond Node.js, such as Python, Java, or .NET
