📋 Description

• Outline and develop new courses and educational materials • Improve existing materials using student performance data and student and teacher feedback • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders • Oversee junior curriculum developers collaborating on projects • Review and provide feedback on other curriculum developers' materials • Participate in teacher training and create training materials when relevant • Participate in onboarding, training, and development of interns and junior curriculum developers • Act as a consultant and strategic partner on areas of expertise • Communicate potential roadblocks and content status and estimate content creation timelines • Develop understanding of students, teachers, and customers, potentially by teaching courses • Foster excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team • Complete other assigned tasks and responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field closely related to computer science • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience teaching computer science and/or developing advanced or exceptionally advanced computer science educational materials, ideally including significant experience working with K-12 students • Strong experience with and understanding of target-audience students and teachers • Demonstrated ability to make good cost-benefit decisions • Strong understanding of purchasers' wants and needs • Strong computer science content knowledge • Excellent writing skills and ability to translate complex computer science concepts into clear, engaging, understandable content • Excellent editing skills • Strong attention to detail • Proven ability to communicate effectively and proactively with project stakeholders • Strong creativity and ability to develop original problems and puzzles • Readiness to seek out and learn from feedback • Passion for education • Successful completion of a background check • Legally authorized to work in the US • No sponsorship available, including STEM-OPT and H-1B
