📋 Description

• Serve as the player-coach and day-to-day lead for the hematology-focused Scientific Affairs team • Balance team leadership responsibilities with direct contribution to scientific deliverables • Manage team workload and project priorities to ensure timely delivery of scientific content and related deliverables • Provide mentorship, coaching, onboarding support, and professional development for hematology team members • Communicate team resource needs, workload concerns, and development opportunities to the EVP of Scientific Affairs • Develop scientific content, including slides and multimedia assets, with key faculty • Develop post-event reports and/or executive summaries • Generate high-quality scientific content with concise scientific writing and accurate, balanced clinical-data representation • Review deliverables for scientific accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards • Collaborate with business development, operations, marketing, and other business functions • Support innovative medical education initiatives addressing market, learner, and client needs • Maintain current knowledge of disease states, emerging data, and clinical management • Adhere to internal operational procedures during content generation and review • Work outside regular business hours and travel when business needs require

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences, such as biology, chemistry or nursing • Background in hematology/oncology required • 3+ years of experience working in hematology/oncology • 3+ years of medical education experience • Experience in the development of scientific content • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time • Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills • Ability to translate scientific information into effective verbal and visual practical communication • Excellent writing skills and strong visual eye • Technology skills including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint) • Must work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative • Comfortable presenting and communicating to all levels of the organization • Accurate and detail oriented with excellent time management skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
